PA3098 Glass Beads

48PA3098 bead cluster covers a small, concentrated area in a larger, mostly chipped stone (N=686) locality.

This area had been burned at least a decade before it was recorded in 2008. The bead cluster is in a spatially restricted portion of a larger site (almost all bead documented are in the area marked by pin flags in the image above). Bead diameter (mean = 2.71 mm) suggests an occupation in the mid to late 1830s using equation from von Wedell (2011).
