48PA3676 is one of the few artifact clusters in the GRSLE bead sample that was found in an unburned area (see 48PA3095). A limited chipped stone assemblage was associated, but the thick meadow grass on the near-by stream terrace made surface visibility very low. It’s likely that buried materials, perhaps from a much larger site area are present here. The two glass beads found here are both white-hearts, which suggests a post-1840 occupation (Billeck 2008).
